Yarn Bark is an Aboriginal led organisation dedicated to facilitating tailored experiences that strengthen Australia's understanding and connection with Aboriginal culture, community and history.
Yarn Bark has over 5-years experience designing and delivering cultural education programs suitable for students / young people across all levels of education. In 2019 Yarn Bark directly engaged over 5,000 young people (kindergarten, primary and secondary) in our cultural immersion / education workshops.
Yarn Bark cultural immersion / education programs are interactive, meaningful and engaging, utilising a broad range of activities, including but not limited to:
- Traditional Dance

- Caring for Country activities.

- Cultural Keynote Presentations tailored to suit educational outcomes required for grade / class / school.
Yarn Bark cultural education experiences can be tailored for individual classes, combined grades or full schools (up to 500 students) and are delivered by our experienced Aboriginal facilitators as 2-hour, half day or full day (preferred for maximum learning) rotational programs.
