About the Two Movies Offered
- Oasis in Space - An incredible journey through the universe in search of liquid water. The structure of our Solar System is beautifully showcased as we fly by the planets and their moons. Is there life on other planets? What are the conditions needed to form and sustain life? Why is liquid water crucial for life? These questions and more are explored, giving insight into the uniqueness of our own planet, Earth. Perfect for Years 2 to 10, in accordance with the NSW Science curriculum.
- Earth's Wild Ride - an amazing film about significant moments in Earth's history - The Ice Age, the asteroid impact, and the dinosaur extinction - which reveal the nature of volcanoes, Earth's atmosphere, the water cycle, rivers, eclipses and animals' adaptation to environments. Viewers dodge a crashing asteroid, come face to face with dinosaurs and ride a raging volcano, in an enthralling endeavour through the earth's life.
