About:

Walk the Talk tells the story of Michael Long's walk to Canberra to ask the Prime Minister to put the lives of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people back on the national agenda.

The resources have been specifically developed for use in primary schools at years 5 and 6 and at secondary level in years 9 and 10.

It is expected that teachers and students will have varying levels of knowledge about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People's beliefs, protocols, language and culture and its diversity across Australia.
