1 in 4 Australian children has been cyber bullied

Our Cyber Bullying/ Cyber safety workshop focuses on strategies and tools on how to be cyber safe. It will raise students' awareness of the consequences of cyber bullying and how to handle, stop and prevent cyber bullying.

 

The Session can include:

  • Multi Media Presentations
  • Videos
  • Group discussions and group work
  • Role Play
  • Games and activities

 

Aims:

  • Raise awareness of the dangers of Cyber Bullying and the consequences it can have including the social, emotional and legal consequences of online misuse
  • Focus on the important role of a bystander and the chance young people have to reduce bullying
  • Discuss cyber practices and tips to help young people to stay cyber safe

 

If a bystander discourages a bully there is a 50% chance that the bully will stop

Our Peer Relationship/ Bullying workshop aims to raise awareness about students' understanding and development of healthy relationships. It will support students to make healthy choices and built resilience in their relationships as well as raising awareness of the consequences of bullying.

  • Role Play
  • Games and activities

 

Aims:

  • Raise awareness of different forms of bullying behaviour and the consequences it can have on the victims
  • Focus on the important role of a bystander and the chance young people have to reduce bullying
  • Promote emotional wellbeing and healthy relationships

 

 

Ages:

Kindergarten, Primary Stage 1 (Y1-2), Primary Stage 2 (Y3-4), Primary Stage 3 (Y5-6), Secondary Stage 4 (Y7-8), Secondary Stage 5 (Y9-10), Secondary Stage 6 (Y11-12)
