About:

THEATRE BRINGS HISTORY ALIVE

Commemorate the Bicentenary of crossing the Blue Mountains.
Inspire your students as they join: the Aboriginal people, explorers Blaxland, Wentworth and Lawson, surveyor Evans, road-builder Cox and pioneer settlers.

CROSSING has a lively, fast-paced and humorous script and is based on extensive historical research. The play inspires inquiry and passion for history at a primary school level and is devised by Gregory Blaxland’s descendants Wendy Blaxland and her daughter Jessica Blaxland Ashby.

After sell out seasons in 2013 and 2014, 2015  will be the final year this extraordinary play will come in to schools.
