Samwise the Beatboxer Philosopher faciliates beatboxing and rap workshops in schools in Western Australia. The focus is on anti-bullying and strategies for developing self-esteem and confidence through voice. Samwise is a TRBWA registered teacher and is available on Fridays in 2014. He is currently employed at Bold Park Community School in Wembley. Students from Primary and Secondary schools will benefit from this workshop. In the workshop students will create an original rap and backing track using their voice and vocal cords for percussion and sound effects. Students will use a loop machine, microphones and sound recording software to generate a sense of proficiency and professionalism. Samwise creates an atmosphere of support and fun in his workshops.
